GABRIELLE MULLINIX
OWNER
GEMPIRE HOLISTIC HAIR COMPANYWith 17 years in the beauty industry and six focused on scalp therapy, Gabrielle Mullinix has evolved her work to center on intentional scalp care and professional well-being. Starting in traditional salon environments, Gabrielle’s curiosity about scalp health led her to explore its connections to the nervous system, circulation, fascia, and the body’s stress patterns.
Through her studies and experience, Gabrielle came to see the scalp as more than a surface-level concern. By slowing down touch, refining product choices, and creating moments of pause within services, she discovered the salon experience can shift—benefiting both the guest and the professional.
In 2020, Gabrielle expanded her offerings to include Head Spa services, not as a departure from the beauty industry but as an evolution of it. Her approach focuses on intentional care, supporting the parasympathetic nervous system, and aligning with brands that prioritize both performance and professional well-being.
Today, she educates beauty professionals on integrating practical, sustainable shifts into their existing services—from refining the shampoo experience to being more mindful of ingredient exposure and incorporating nervous system awareness into their work. Her philosophy is that meaningful change doesn’t require reinventing a business, but can begin with small, thoughtful adjustments.
Gabrielle’s goal is to open a broader conversation about sustainability in the beauty profession—showing that long, fulfilling careers are possible while protecting one’s health, energy, and peace.

HENRY AMOLOJA
FOUNDER
THE WEIGHTED CAPEWith nearly 10 years of professional barbering experience, Henry “Tribes” Amoloja is a barbershop owner, educator, inventor, and content creator. He has refined his craft in Charlotte, Washington, DC, Dallas, and Minnesota, building a reputation for both skill and innovation. Beyond his work, he is dedicated to giving back—leading a clipper drive that donated over 120 clippers to barbers in Nigeria, his home country.
Henry’s inspiration for the Weighted Cape came after using a weighted blanket. Realizing its calming effect, he envisioned how a traditional barber cape could be transformed into a tool that brings comfort to clients—especially children who feel overwhelmed during haircuts.
What began as a simple idea quickly became something more meaningful. Henry observed that the added weight helped some children feel calmer and more secure. While not a medical device, the Weighted Cape offers a way to make everyday experiences like haircuts feel safer and more manageable for children with sensory sensitivities.
Now a Sensory Safe Certified barber based in Downtown Dallas, Henry specializes in sensory-friendly haircuts for neurodivergent children. He believes every child deserves a positive grooming experience free from fear or distress. Through patience, creativity, and empathy, Henry is helping redefine inclusive grooming and setting a new standard within the industry.
